ABOUT REDCLIFFE
Redcliffe Training Associates Limited ("Redcliffe") is a leading firm of financial trainers with a
blue chip client list. The company was founded in 1997 to satisfy the demand for corporate finance,
M & A and related training programmes. In recent years we have expanded our range of seminars to cover
banking, treasury products, accounts, tax, asset management and many other financial topics.
We develop and present seminars for executives working in corporates, investment banks, securities
houses, firms of accountants and legal practices.
OUR SEMINARS:
Redcliffe specialises primarily in corporate finance and banking subjects. Within corporate finance, popular topics include mergers and acquisitions, buy-outs, valuation, regulation,
project finance (including PPP / PFI) and restructuring.
Some seminars are designed to address public company issues whereas others focus on smaller private companies.
On the banking side, Redcliffe presents programmes on debt, treasury products, trade finance
and corporate banking issues. Other financial topics that Redcliffe's trainers also teach include
accounts, tax, leasing, asset management, negotiation skills and strategic issues.
OUR TRAINERS:
Redcliffe has three full time directors - Gary Mond, Michael Dance and Roger Baden-Powell -
who all have many years practical experience in corporate finance. In addition Redcliffe has over
30 associate trainers. These are all former practitioners who have held senior positions in corporate finance,
venture capital, industry, accountancy, law, tax or asset management. The detailed CVs of the directors and

OUR CLIENTS:
Since 2000 Redcliffe has delivered tailored programmes to executives from over 50 investment banks, stockbrokers,
firms of accountants and lawyers. A list of our clients may be found on our website. In addition Redcliffe
presents some 40 different programmes on a public (open) basis regularly throughout the year.
SEMINAR PRESENTATION:
The style of teaching is interactive and participation-oriented and does not simply comprise a series of lectures.
Where relevant, role-playing techniques are deployed. The mix of teaching sessions, exercises (short problems
attempted by participants individually or in pairs) and case studies (more substantial issues which are addressed
by participants in groups of four or five) is designed to maximise benefit. The delivery of training programmes
is accompanied by detailed notes (50 to 100 pages per training day) as well as exercises, case studies, videos and
public corporate documents where relevant. Participants are also supplied with copies of slide transparencies
displayed during the seminar.
