Since its formation in 1985, SYSOP has grown to its present strength of 26 staff. All of this growth has been self-financed from profits.
The objective of the company is to provide high-quality solutions for its customers with the initial focus being on Storage Management and Data Centre Support Systems.
SYSOP has been providing Service and Systems management training in the Windows NT, Unix and ICL VME marketplaces since 1992. A major strength of our training division is that experienced technicians and consultants deliver the courses. This ‘real world’ experience enables the trainer to relate to real life situations covering points and identify pitfalls the course attendee may come across in their own environment. This combination of ‘coal face’ experience and training skills enables the trainer to bring a topic alive adding real value to any course.
The service management division of SYSOP has developed innovative software designed to reduce both the manual effort and the costs in managing enterprise systems, and to improve the level of service provided to users. Recent developments have seen the company commit to the evolving Windows NT/2000 marketplace.
SYSOP has earned a well-deserved reputation for technical excellence and has provided products and services to over 200 major companies and organisations both in the United Kingdom and abroad. Major clients include: ICL, BT, EDS, Inland Revenue, DSS, CFM, BACS, British Gas, the States of Guernsey, as well as numerous Local Authorities. Our overseas activities have extended to Ireland, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and South Africa.
SYSOP is a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider (MCSP), holds the ISO9001 quality certification, has accreditations from the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB), Institute of IT Training (IITT), IT Service Management Forum (ITSMF), Institute of Management Information Systems (IMIS) and are recognised as an “Investor in People”.
